This event, held at the Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre, brought together an impressive 1,100 swimmers from over 120 clubs, including international participants from Dubai.

Among them, Darragh Collins, a 15-year-old phenom, stole the spotlight with his remarkable performances across four events. Breaking the 27-second barrier in the 50m Freestyle with a personal best is a testament to his raw talent and dedication. But Collins' achievements didn't stop there; he also recorded PBs in the 50m Breaststroke and contributed to a remarkable six-second PB during the club's 800m Freestyle Relay.

The Lakelanders club, having trained at Omagh Leisure Centre following the demolition of their previous facility, the Lakeland Forum, for redevelopment, was particularly proud to field a team in the boys' 800m Freestyle Relay. Collins, Mongan, Russell Mikievicz Lumayad, and Walker combined their talents to produce an excellent overall personal best, each delivering a strong 200m leg. Additionally, three Enniskillen swimmers representing Lurgan Swim Club excelled at the championships. Jamie Lannon (18) qualified for four individual events and reached three Senior B Finals, finishing as the second-fastest Irish 18-year-old in the 100m Breaststroke and retaining his position as Ireland's fastest 18-year-old in the 200m Breaststroke with a lifetime best of 2:24.94.
Ellie Dunlop (17) qualified in four events and reached the A Finals of both the 50m and 100m Breaststroke, with a standout fifth-place finish in Ireland in the 50m Breaststroke.
Luke Lannon (15) qualified in five events, reaching B Finals in both the 100m and 200m Breaststroke. He also competed in the 400m Individual Medley A Final, finishing ninth, and earned two bronze performance certificates for his personal best swims.
The achievements of these swimmers are all the more impressive considering the commitment and dedication required to compete at the highest level. With Enniskillen's new leisure centre still under construction, these athletes make a two-hour round trip to Craigavon six days a week to train with Lurgan Swim Club.
